In 2017, I became disillusioned with continuing with ‘business as usual’ and started looking for my key purpose in life. As the Senior Partner of a thriving medical practice, I was considered very successful and had a growing personal property portfolio. I knew there was more but did not know how to find it. Around this time I turned to a senior GP colleague who offered six sessions of what turned out to be life coaching. I also began a three-year Leadership Development Training Programme at Charis Bible College.
These two events completely transformed my outlook on life. I immediately began to see the benefits of looking at the whole person - mind, body and spirit. The results were consistently transformational not just for patients, but also for an eclectic range of professionals who approached me for one-to-one coaching. I immediately began putting plans in place for these principles to be made available to a much wider audience.

In August 1966 my father Lieutenant Irving Simon was commissioned as the first black officer in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy. I was later born in the naval town of Portsmouth, England. Much of my childhood was spent in St Louis Missouri in the USA, before moving back to London England to study medicine. I have been married since 1998 and have three beautiful children who are all scholar athletes in high performance educational institutions. Having played rugby to a high standard, I now enjoy coaching young players.
